I purchased the S2k about a month ago with full intention of doing a swap (I can hear the cries!). I am still building the new engine currently but want/need to get this one sold.
This deal comes with Transmission and Longblock.
@Billman250 was gracious enough to provide cost of a new NIB 06-09 2.2L (6k) I HIGHLY recommend going through Billman if you are wanting an entirely new shortblock.
I am attaching photos of compression test (220 on 3 cylinders, 225 on another) and a video of the unit running (cold start). I personally have not done anything to the engine with the exception of replacing the VTEC Solenoid Gasket (Kraken).
If you are wanting the Items shipped (wowzers) I will leave all the logistics, packaging, and cost up to you. Otherwise its local pickup.
The engine is currently in the car still. I will pull it upon confirmation of sale. However, if you are so inclined to give me a hand removing your new engine/transmission from the vehicle. I will cut 400 from the price and provide music, beers, and tools.
The transmission is in decent condition, the 3rd gear synchro is problematic, but double clutching is smooth 9/10 times.

Just thought of this, I am going to be using the money to pickup a FBody t56 transmission, if someone has one we could work that into the deal and lower the cash requirement!
