Default Not on my bucket list but it was fun

I went up today on my first ever glider flight... when he disconnected the tow rope and we pulled off in the other direction, I said F'me that was cool. So he said "Do you want to fly it?" Maybe next time... I have never seen gliders, I had no idea what the process was, so I did not feel the need to impress anyone by grabbing the stick. It was a fun ride and it was in an old glider with an old (experienced) pilot at the controls.

Took a 1 1/2 hour glider flight as a B’day gift in 2011 that was launched from the Boulder, CO Airport. It was an amazing flight with a few aerobatic maneuvers thrown in. The Colorado mountain range and prairie sunrise views were spectacular. Hope that you were as totally engrossed over your flight as I was! I love, loved it!

Gliders: Sailboats of the sky.

I'm green with envy.

I've flown a couple times. The last time we caught some awesome thermals and stayed up over 2 hours! I loved the sound of the air passing over the wings.
