The loss of a sister
My heart is broken. My sister passed away yesterday at the way too young age of 62. Effin cancer. She had been treated with good results last fall. Recent scans were good. Long story short the cancer returned with a vengeance and her passing was quick
We are most thankful that she had a wonderful trip to MA early this month unaware of what was happening in her body. We are thankful that we spent time with her in MA and that her entire family made it to SC to be with her before she passed.
She was the life of any party someone who truly loved life and trust me you never met a kinder or more thoughtful person
She and my brother in law recently retired moved to SC and had so many plans to travel.
My heart breaks for her husband her sons and the two grandchildren who won't have the pleasure of someone who would have been world's greatest Memere.
This is going to hurt for a long long time.

Very, very sad news. Val told me what happened and said you were going to drop by her place. Always good to talk with someone who has been there. So sorry she did not get to live out her retirement years with all those plans.
I'm very sorry for your loss, she sounded like a great person. I don't know how many times I hear the same story with people who have cancer, it seems to go into remission and then comes back with a vengeance. This happens much too often. I know you will do what you can to keep her memory alive. Time does heal some wounds, but losing a family member hurts for a long time.
