this past friday Briatore spoke to his fellow team bosses in a meeting.

Automobiles Renault gets a new management in March next year and decisions are not helping Flav nor the entire F1 project. Flav claims, the new management are not seeing the big picture of how or what it takes, to not only be a team in formula one but to win. He alluded to the recent Jag and Ford pull out.

Rumour has it that Flav will either work with the FIA , BAR or follow Mike Gascoyne @ Toyota as they are desperate to have him.

Now we start the silly season for F1 managers too :-) heh

Simon, that is some good stuff, thanks for the insight.

I can understand the change now, no problem. With the skill sets of Flavio, there is no reason to work for a team that does not have the support it needs from the factory. Renault has got to be 100% committed if it is going to work; obviously Flavio knows that and does not want to be part of a sinking ship. I wonder when he will leave? You are right, silly season for team principles, wow.

So, Renault needs to win 2nd place this year so I can pick BAR as my 2nd favorite team next year...
