S2000 Rotarians
As this month celebrates the centennial of the foundation of Rotary, and by definition the members of Vintage Owners forum are over 40 years of age, I got to wondering how many of us are also members of Rotary?
If there are enough of us then we might consider setting up a Rotary Fellowship of S2000 drivers, and arrange a newsletter and occasional meet.

A nice idea...I'm not a member of Rotary, but my dad has been for 40+ years. He is an emeritus member of the McLean, VA Rotary Club and founded the Tysons Corners Rotary Club. He has been very active in McLean civic affairs - Rotary is a big part of that.
I have been a Rotarian for 19 years. S200VMC must belong, but didn't vote cause there's only one "yes" vote.
I don't type well enough to give the entire background, but I'll say that Rotary is international, even has clubs in The former Soviet Union now. Our local club raises money and donates to local groups like the Boys and Girls Club, Jr. Achievment etc. One project the three Napa clubs has- every year we give every third grade student in Napa schools their very own dictionary. We have international projects like housing in Nicaragua, and a microbank in Guatemala. There is a website for Rotary if you want to learn more. (or ask me questions)

As president elect of the Laguna /Elk grove Rotary, I feel I have some knowledge of this fine organization, we help out a LOT of local charities and have a lot of fun at our fund raisers, it's open to both men AND women and I've met a lot of wonderful people and will travel a lot during my year of being president, we are always looking for new members, and they don't HAVE to be vintage!!!

Can't say I even know what a Rotarian is although I've heard of them.

I went to Rotary Leaders Camp at Camp Carson PA in the summer of 1962 or 63. Does that count
