A late night exchange with Matt (inVA) on the Spelling thread led my warped mind to the following:

How was the sermon this morning, or yesterday at your synagogue?

I never miss the church-of-the-S on Sunday mornings.....meets regularly right here on station WS2K....broadcasting in stereo in on both am and fm bands

There are no pledges or offerings, except the pledge to be civil and offer moral support to fellow S community members. The overhead is pretty low.....guests are free and members only pay a few dollars per month. Communion only takes place at occasional gatherings of the faithful, with meetings often taking place at the time of Fall Colors and Spring Flinging. Our garb tends to be informal....event tee shirts, driving gloves (for after church ), etc.

How about you? Who should be the leader of our flock? Do you think that we should have a choir with songbooks? Should the organ pipes be OEM or aftermarket....Invidia sounds pretty celestial

Will the community be interested in this thread.....or let it drop like a lead balloon?

 

I really like this church-of-the-S. Right now I'm sitting in my nightgown. And I could use a shower.

 

I didn't mean to get you all hot and sweaty, Patty. We do have rules here in our sanctuary.... but fltsfshr might suggest 'clothing optional'
