Feedback; sympathies on all counts!

Well, he could've put it down as 99, but he was clearly looking for entrapment. Sad little twat.

Best of British - and to your G/F!

Why "clearly" looking for entrapment? And why is the copper a "sad little twat" for doing his job, if that's what the evidence showed?

I sympathise with the OP - especially given the reason for the journey at that speed - but I fail to see why the automatic assumption that the copper was out to persecute motorists and doing anything other than what he is paid to do....

EDIT: At 30mph over the limit, you should prepare yourself for a ban - the presumption is that a ban should be applied unless you can show them that there's a good reason why they shouldn't. It IS possible to avoid it though - my brother got done at 92 in a 60 and managed, doing his own plea in mitigation, to get away with 5 points (he was on 6 already and the beaks thought this might give him a reason not to do it again!) and a hefty fine.
