Hi S40, its not that hard to do yourself, choose the HU yourself and the speakers, i Went for Alpine with the IPOD link. quite easy to install. If you need a hand i am not that far from you. also use a modifry interface for Dash Control. do it a lot cheaper than quoted.
Depends if you dont want the hassle.
Whats the HU and speakers they are going to install ?

Have always liked Sextons in Reading - good quality work.

I'm a little like you S40 & not keen on pulling parts out of my dash!

I've found them to be expensive, and they are not the tidyest on their installs if you have a look after (They did a stereo on my old car, and the security on the current).

But they get the job done.

I'd DIY it, it's not hard.

Berkshire Car Sound on the hill up to Earley (by the BP that got pulled down) have always been fine for me.

As has John Kleis Audio on the Basingstoke Road.

But I'd agree on the "DIY" aspect. Once you figure out the fascia removal, it's a doddle.

I'd do it myself tbh. Not the ahrdest job in the World to do, and there is plenty of info on here of how to take the door cards off, and get to the Honda radio.

I'm gonna be DIYing mine soon.

Gonna order an Alpine online, unless any of the above Berks suppliers offer similar prices to online?

Looking for an Alpine 9850ri (with the FullSpeed iPod support).

Anyone fancy an "Audio install Meet" in Berks?
