If there is a meet - I'd love someone to help run some speaker cable to behind the seats so I can decide what to do there.......

Was advised that putting speakers there would kill the soundstage.....and I listened like a fool. Missus has an MX5 with rear sound bar & it sounds so much better with the roof down; ie I can hear it.

Cue the "why have a radio when you have VTEC" comments!

Next question is what speakers do I go for? I'm looking at a Head Unit - Alpine CDA 9855R with the S2K Adaptor - Alpine KCE 865B.

I want something loudish just to replace the existing speakers. Not bothered about any additional speakers.

I just ordered an Alpine 9885 + KCE-422i (Full Speed iPod Connector).

Should be here tomorrow fingers crossed.
