Yeah, that sounded kinda weird, didn't it? Utah had the Mingster "snorkel" hanging around since he wanted to try something else. He was kind enough to let me have it "gratis" and I've got it on the car now. Like Utah, I experiment with stuff and I'll use this into the "heat" before I compare it to the AEM I've got coming. It looks a lot better than the hardware store "drier" duct that I was using. Once in place, it fits perfectly. It's still too cold here to feel any effects but I do notice that as the engine heats up and the under hood temps rise, the performance does not diminish like the stock setup. It won't gain you any HP but it makes sure you keep what you've got on those hot days. Again, thanks Utah (and Mingster, indirectly).

Not a problem......

If we "recycle" parts with our friends they can gain knowledge about different systems available. Rich's design is outstanding and the CF looks great. I just had an opportunity to pick up a new AEM cheap and did so.

As X said...good job Rich!

Still looking for the BDR deal though (LOL).
