My Apex N1 exhaust arrived a little early from Japan. I wanted to dyno it this weekend and post the results, but that's turning into a problem...

I want to dyno somewhere near my house so I can do a baseline, go home and install the exhaust, and then go dyno again. So the dyno shops in OC and LA don't work in this case.

I called Extreme Performance and they're booked for the next couple weeks. I called Brother's Performance and they said they only dyno for individuals on wed. and thurs. They seemed completely unable to understand the concept of a full time job and how wed. and thurs. wont work. They dyno for car clubs (groups of 10 or more cars) on weekends, but I don't have time to organize a dyno day just do test an exhaust.

PLEASE HELP!

Thanks... but it's kinda a long drive - especially since I'd have to go home in between dyno runs to change out the exhaust

Yeah, I've dyno'ed there before... but it's a long drive from here and I wanted to do before and after dynos on the same day...

of course, if I do go to R&D, at least they already have a baseline curve in their computer for my car, so as long as the correction factor works out, I guess I don't need to do a "before" dyno there. I might have to go to LA on sat. anyway... so... maybe.

I just called Darren to see if he could fit me in this weekend. He said they also usually only do groups on weekends, but this weekend they're not even going to be around. The good news is they still have my baseline in the computer, so I guess if I don't make it out for a couple weeks it'll still be ok. Of course, this saturday would have been best since I'll already be in the area.

Well, a friend of a friend is offering me a G-Tech Pro for $100. I think it's only worth $80, but maybe I'll take him up on it anyway.
