Default Daytime running lights r brown, I want blue.

My daytime running lights r stock brown looking, lights. Does anybody know where I can pick up a pair of blue or purple running light bulbs? I do have the xenons which are blue/purple looking but I want the running lights to be the same.

Best wishes guys!

Blue during DRL power? Can't happen with the wattage of the bulbs. I have purple DRLs running at 7000K. Here's what it looks like during DRL mode:

Hi-beam 7000K

Here's my old set up with 5500K bulbs:

hi-beam

If you want the purple bulbs, I've been looking to switch back to stock. PM me if you're interested.

~50% power, yes. You can use any 55W H1 bulb.

In order to have a blue DRL, I'm guessing you would either have to have a seriously coated blue bulb or run LEDs but that means that you wont have highbeams and you would have to run a nice sized resistor. The other option is to drill a hole and mount a blue bulb in the highbeam area like a city light in japan. Then you can have blue DRLs.

Wait, in order to run LEDs as DRLS, you need to upgrade your resistor? It's not plug and play, huh? Also, the LEDs would get rid hi-beams as well?
