N/A question
I'm new here and really unfamiliar with how basic-bolt ons effect the f20/f22 engines and wanted to ask you guys some questions since I'm planning to buy an S2000.
How much power would you gain from an intake, cat-back exhaust, headers, and a ecu reflash? Roughly how much would i/h/e cost in parts?
I don't think they can much better then they already are, but is there aftermarket cams that will improve power? And by how much power?
Does the f22 show better gains then the f20?
I'm just trying to get an idea so I can plan ahead.
Thanks in advance

look at all the important topics, for gains on i/h/e and cams can usually be found there a long with prices, i would start there first so people dont get angry your asking questions that have long threads soley for them.
the reflash there are alot of threads on that too, hondata is usually the easiest for most gains.
i belive they show the same amount of gains, but the f22 usually baselines 10 more rwhp.
pretty much just look at the top of the NA forum section most questions will be answered

Well 00-05, you will need a "piggyback" system of some kind in order to tune the car and get the most out of your bolt-ons. There is a popular "piggyback" system used by many members on this board "VAFC" this also allows one to lower the Vtec engagement. I would recommend that one saves their money for the Emanage Ultimate
, one gets the best gains from this system aside from AEM which is over kill;Emanage is also turbo/supercharger compatible were as the VAFC is not.
I will tell you one thing, for the S2000 bolt-ons do not do much for the money one will spend on them; for the fact that our cars are already built so well. I would recommend as a first mod to get a single exhaust, then a cold air intake to unleash the beautiful sound S2000 makes. There is a ton of information about the price, and gains of each bolt-on the s2000 on this thread, search for "Official Exhaust Thread", "Official Header Thread" etc.

they are on the top of the NA forum under important topics, Hes right it will not give you much gains, single like he said will give you the most and save weight. I would suggest buying with weight savings in mind front and formost.

AEM EMS would be the best bang for your buck. You can find them for a good price from some dealers and you can always buy it used.

You can get a light weight dual exhaust also. My spoon dual exhaust weighs about the same as the popular single exhausts.

OP you really got to search and research for yourself. Read the official threads and then decided what you want to get.
Also if you just hold the money you would spend on header exhaust and all you can just get some gears which are definitely the best bang for your buck avaiable for this car. That and a vafc tune will be a very nice combo.
