Default Recaro SPG + Mugen Rails combo owner help

Hi guys,

I'm currently on a Recaro SPG + Mugen seat rail combo. Good fitment except for the shoulder supports of the SPG touch the door so that when i close the door, the shoulder support is in contact with the door and squeaks a bit.

there are 3 settings of how low I can slam my seat. While fitting, I asked to fit the seat at the lowest possible setting. However, the mechanic said that I was only able to use the middle setting as the nut was not able to be screwed in for the lowest setting due to the seat contacting a part of the slider mechanism.

Anyone knowws how I can go to the lowest setting? or lower than the middle setting? What modifications should I do?

Or has it been done to just squeeze the seat into the lowest setting?

Thanks guys!

BTW I am now an SPG fan

The SPG is a great seat. Why the desire to "slam the seat?" Are you an eight foot tall man-beast? Some seats just won't fit on the lowest rail setting because of the shape of the contour of the seat.

When I had mine that was the lowest I could put the seat. I heard there are other brackets out there that are lower.
