Default Looking for a bucket seat

I have searched quite a bit but no answers to the questions that matter the most to me.

I'm looking for a bucket seat that fits the S2000. I was going for Mugen S1-R but then I heard men around 6" tall don't fit very well into it. I have browsed the Bride/Sparco/ Recaro/High End homepage for a sizing chart but no luck. I know you can't tell if a seat fits you unless you've tried sitting in it but that hard for me because there aren't many bucket seats in my country and no real vendor who sells them. So I have to special order them thru the US or whatever and I'd hate getting a seat that wouldn't fit my body.

I'm looking for a seat that fits a me, 6" tall, 34" waist and 51" shoulder. If anyone here might give me some direction in where I could find my "perfect" seat.

Price <$1.000

Science of Speed

You might try the Recaro Pole Position or SPG depending on the seat shoulder dimensions. The Pole Position should offer better room. Both fit in the S2000 and I believe the seat dimensions can be found on the Recaro website...or at least solved by a quick phone call.

Since I see you are in Iceland, I don't know what shipping would be.

Ok thank you. Pole Position seems relatively cheap compared to many others I have looked at.

I found Bride VIOS III at a similar price, only thing is I don't know the fitment on the Bride

you would fit fine in the Mugen S1-R - especially with your height because with the mugen rail you can put it at a very low setting (the floor really). the waist is more of a limiting factor but since i'm a 36 inch waist and fit snuggly, you shouldn't have any problems:

I just went through this on my car. The Sparo Evo should fit you just fine. I will be stuffing a set of Sparco Evo 2 in my car, but I have nothing on the inside so I have more room. I can fit in the Evo, but it is just too tight (38" waist). I will be installing them tonight.

I will be mounting them on Buddy Club LOW DOWN Seat rails. They are lower then the Taitec.

I test fitted a set of Sparco Rev, and Pro 2000s in the car. The Revs were far too tight for me to even get into, and Pros fit fine, just a bit tight. The problem I found was that my head was up too far and I rubbed the HT w/o a helmet. So I needed to drop it down. Both of these seats were fitted with Taitec rails.

I have also sat in the Pole Position and the SPG. The Pole Position fit ok, tight, but the belt holes were too low. The SPG was smaller then the PP and cost more. I would have needed the SPG XL and the backs looked about the same as the PP for belt placement. So I did not even look for a set to test.

Damn! The S1-R looks like a proper seat. You opened up the Mugen possibility again, thank you
