Default Shine Spec ar-1 front bumper

I only found one review on this bumper and the review was that it fit alright but needed some work, this review however was when the bumper first came out so im wondering if they made improvements. Does anyone else have this front bumper? How was the fitment? In the review I read, he said it still needed to be sanded down. Is this true or maybe he just got a bad batch? Im looking to buy an amuse replica and shine seems like they have the best fitment in terms of replicas body parts. I know it wont fit 100% so im willing to work with it as long as its not a nightmare lol. Im just looking for other reviews. Thanks!

I have a shine spec a bumper. The fitment is not 100% but it is one of the best aftermarket bumpers you can get. The only work that was needed was sanding near the headlight. The end result was very satisfactory but the only tiny flaw is the alignment of the bumper and fender. The bumper also feels pretty flimsy and thin which is not a plus. I visited the warehouse of Shine and they do some quality work. But overall, I am satisfied with the bumper and recommend you buy a Shine brand bumper.

I got one about 2 yrs ago. Fitment is about from 8/9 out of 10 depending on how much of a perfectionist & nitpicky you are. I only had to shave around the insides of the headlight to align it for a pretty good fitment in my eyes. Its after market so you can't expect OEM fitment. It's pretty thin too which is why you can see on their website, them bending it. Mines actually had a few spots I thought was too thin like the corners & some patchy spots in the front. You could litterally see light shine through like as if a thin layer of fiberglass was only used. But I didnt bother reinforcing it. You could if you want but I figured the prime, base, clear should add depth to it. Mines came in a big ass box & it wasn't cushioned. So depending on who's feight shipping it, it could get damaged if not handled correctly. The delevry company that shipped it, I kid you not, I saw the guy rolling the big ass box out the back of the truck. I came running out with cell phone cam in hand ready to take damage pics yelling like "easy! yo!". But to my amazement nothing was cracked. I got qouted $650 shipped. I wouldnt be suprised if the price has gone up in this sad economy we're having. It's basically half of the real amuse price tag, and no containment shipment wait from a far away country not knowing when it'll arrive. So you win more than you lose, I say its a good buy Shine's pretty solid if you're comparing to other aftermarket guys. There's actually some $300-$400 amuse r1 replicas on ebay made by duraflex. Cheap but like they say you get what you pay for, someone rich should buy it for the heck of it to review for us..jk
