Default IS Style Bumper from Chaser?

I have been looking to replace out my Ap1 bumper with something a little more updated and have been looking into swapping into a ap2 but I found this and was wondering if anyone has had it on the car before and could give me an idea of what it would like actually installed. They call it the IS style bumper and its from a no name company. Also if anyone knows a well known company that makes this bumper let me know.

DO NOT DO IT!

I bought this bumper and it didnt fit at all. I even cut the hell out of it, and it still didnt fit. Chaser even tried to install one themselves, and they had to re-fiberglass areas, and it had spider cracks everywhere from flexing it so much trying to fit it. Imagine painting it, it would get the cracks everywhere, and even more if you scrape it. I then got yelled at by them for posting negative feedback for them and only got a partial refund. I literally threw that bumper in the grabage.

Chaser already has 2 big feedback threads about their parts and they are all bad feedback pretty much. Do not do it, if you do, I will guarentee you that you will regret it. I got pics still if I can find them.

If you want the ASM style bumper that actually fits, get the Shine replica. It is a good price and it fits very well.

well its a good thing i asked about it before i bought it. i found a couple places that sell the asm version of it but 1200 for the front bumper is pretty steep. i might have to look into just settling for a lip...if you could find some pics of it that would be awesome

I'll do that for you when I get home from work. I think the Shine bumper is around $600, which is very good for a nice looking/fitting bumper. If you can't afford that, then I would recommend getting an OEM lip for your ap1, or getting an ap2 bumper.

Here are a few pics for you. This is the farthest it will bend before it starts making scarry cracking noises. Also the parts where the headlights go wasnt even close to the OEM bumper.

Also remember this is AFTER I trimmed on parts for an hour. It didnt clear the metal front bumper brace behind the bumper, so I cut like 3" off the entire grill opening of the bumper all the way around.

OEM vs Chaser bumper
