Default Bled my brakes

So by leaving my parking brake engaged did I cause anything bad to happen? I cant find much information on this but I seem to recall on other cars I have had that you have to disengage the parking brake or else the rear calipers wont bleed properly and cause your pads and parking brake to not grab?

Does anyone have experience with this?

didnt make a difference for me. As long as you got the air out of the system is the important part. There are other factors in the brake system which affect piston location and this doesnt have any negative effect.
