Default perch setting help for konis and swift spec r

Hi all, I was planning on buy koni yellows for my ap1, so far i have swift spec rs and a whiteline fsb. since i am on stock 16s the gap between the tires and fenders are still unsightly to me. the springs already give a 1.25 inch drop and if i were to put it on the lower perch, it probably would come out to 1.75 drop total. would this be too much drop for my spring rates (7.5K,7K)? would this degrade performance enough to not be worth putting it on the lower perch for should i not worry about it? anyone with experience? also i hear that konis compression is softer than oems, is this true? However is the high speed compression harder than oem? There are somepeople who say its harder and some that says it not so i dont i have a clear answer.

If you go 1.75" you might wanna cut the bumpstops...otherwise it really boils down to personal preference. You can go either way and be okay.

I still have yet to find a reliable dyno for the stock koni's on an S.
