Default ABS Light On after Coilover install

Hi,

My ABS light is on after I installed a coilover the otherday. I try to reset the ABS light and it is throwing out DTC code 21 ,22. I also checked the gear pulser and nothing looks chipped or damaged.

Does anyone have any idea what wrong with my ABS?

Much appreciated from my fellow S2K owners.

Thomas

When you replace your coilovers or suspension there are two bolts on the upper control arm that holds the abs line if you pull out the upper control arm to install the coilover and not unbolt the abs line you can brake or tear the wire inside. In which you will have to buy new abs lines which is probably what happen to you.

but it says dtc code 21 and 22 which is an pulser error? Would the abs lines still be the issue?

go buy a multimeter...they're around $20 for a decent one. Make sure there's power running through the wires.

so there should be a connection if i read it with a multimeter? sorry I just don't understand how the abs sensor works. Don't know if there's a circuit if it's not activated

I wonder what the turn out was on this. I know for a fact that I pulled on the wire when removing my upper control arm causing the abs light to turn on.
