Default ABS Light is on

Was doing a coilover install on my car today, shock got wedged into the control arm, sorta pushing the ABS line and might have pulled out a sensor on the front drivers side. I unplugged the battery as well as the ABS fuse, and the light is still on. Is there anyway to fix this?

If I take it to honda to have it looked at, will they care if I have no cat? It's back on stock suspension right now. Brakes seem to work perfectly fine although I haven't slammed on them to test out the ABS.

Thanks

If the fault is now fixed, you must follow a specific procedure to turn off the ABS light. Reseting the ECU will have no effect.

Check the library and UTH FAQ for more details.

If the ABS light is on, then your ABS more than likely is not functioning.

If you damaged or destroyed the sensor or sensor wire, you will need to replace it. Not difficult to do (only one bolt holds it to the hub), but I understand they are expensive.

Then reset the ABS light as CoralDoc suggests.

Thanks for the info, I'll look into fixing it as soon as I get some money, I just hope I don't need to use ABS on the street anytime soon. Took it to honda today and was told it costs $45 just to run the diagnostic + additional fees for fixing it. I'm guessing the part is around $100 or so, and as for labor, honda likes to charge a pretty penny lol.

Only thing is, the honda dealership closest to me employs a guy I know whom doesn't like me at all, and I feel the same about him, he'll definately recognize my car, I hope he doesn't fk anything up =X
