Default megan track or funtion and form coilovers debate for my S

Hey guys, I know coilovers debate is always been a question for everyone, and there are many posts about them. However, I'm not a hardcore about bringing my s to track all the time. Maybe just Autocross once awhile. So I'm just looking for some decent coilovers that fit in my budget. Here are my final choices: Megan Track series or Function and Form type 2. Please let me know your opinions. Thanks!!

Personally I hear better things about Buddy Club but I could be wrong overall.

I haven't heard anything much abuot Megan or F&F series. Just a thought.

From what I've seen, the people that own Megan Track series seem to be happy with them, but the people that don't own them don't think too highly of their quality.

I don't recall hearing anything about Function and Form coilovers, as well.

When looking into these things, just be careful; the coilovers that get long, in-depth reviews (Buddy Club, KW, Fortune Auto) tend to be more respected, while the rest are ignored or looked down upon, even when there isn't a huge amount of information on them. For a while, it seemed like the only coilovers that were recommended were KW, which (IMO) are overkill for most drivers.

Aren't those a little more expensive than Megans?

Is the S not worth the few extra $$$ to buy quality parts?

Megan and function are of lower quality and overpriced. Your money is better spent going after the fortune auto, the fortune auto's are rebuildable..... megan and function are not. Fortune auto high quality digressive strut..... megan and function low quality antiquated progressive strut.

It wouldnt make sense to put a cubic zirconia on a platinum setting

Here is a closeout on fortune auto 510 v3 coilovers, this is a $1500 setup

I just wanted to point out to the OP that the Fortune Auto coilovers might be in another price bracket. I wouldn't quite call the s2000 a "platinum fitting," though I do love mine.

Ok i exaggerated a little bit but the S2 is not "gold filled" or "electroplated"

as to price point, megan track and form function type 2 are a little over $800
I posted a link for a set of fortune auto 510 series for under a grand and there new, that would be around $150 price difference
