So my EBC Yellows + Motul RBF600 setup are now 4 track days old... That's not really that old but i've decided to upgrade!

I've just ordered a set of XP10/XP8's + Centric Rotors all around... Would it be a good idea to do freshen up the brake fluids?

Motul doesn't really last all that long, it's very hygroscopic or so I've been told. I wouldn't run it any longer than a year and I might be inclined to do a quick flush every 6 or so track days.

depends how old the fluid is. I've run motul for more than 4 track days and have been totally fine. I usually bleed a little fluid out of each caliper after each track day, though. and i do flush every year since it's a dot 4 fluid.

 

Fluid is about 6 months old

 

Is it very humid where you live?

 

Southern California so generally not...
