Interested. I plan to go with an aftermarket exhaust at some point so if I picked this up would it just make sense to wait to installed it until then? Or, is there a benefit to bolting this up to an OEM exhaust (AP1)? I would be OK with it just adding sound effects to the OEM exhaust for now.

Also, from Berk's site, "As of January 1st, 2009, performance high flow cats are intended for off-road use only in the state of California'". Would this pass emissions on the computer if the tech. doesn't spot it installed?

I had a berk testpipe on my Ap1 exhaust and didnt ever notice that much of a sound difference but i definitley noticed a power difference, i think testpipe/HFC is one of the best mods you can do with your car... I actully have this same part on my car right now but this is one that I ordered and couldnt wait for it to come in so I bought another from a buddy

As for the passing of the SMOG, i believe that the cat will still pass because they havnt changed it as to a year ago but it became a visual fail... people correct me if i am wrong !!

I have the 60mm Berk HFC. No visual fail for me when I did the smog check. However, it still did fail because the HFC ran the car too rich. The smog technician said getting a new O2 sensor might do the trick but since I had my stock cat I just slapped it back on for the smog. HFC went back as soon as I got home from passing

GREAT DEAL! Wish you were in SoCal - I'm looking to get a 70mm for my new exhaust setup.
