Partout

S2K Challenge Modified Class Champion S2000 for sale
Contact: Jim Tway
Location: Yorba Linda, CA
[B]Asking Price: on hold........
All PM's will be answered.

Car History:

I bought the car used in 2008 as daily driver at approx 41K miles. It was slowly transformed over the past 2 1/2 years into full track duty. The car has entered and podiumed at Redline Time Attack and S2K Challenge Events, including winning the 2010 S2K Challenge Mod Class Championship. It is a 2002 AP1 Chassis with a 2004 AP2 Motor. The motor was installed about 2 years ago, it had 37K miles on it when installed, and now has about 25 track days since. The AEM 1052U was tuned at Church Automotive and pulled 244 RWHP, and that was with a cat and AEM V2 intake. Car currently has a 60mm test pipe and J's Racing intake. Everything else installed is no more than 2 1/2 years old unless noted. Full data acquistion system and GoPro HD Hero camera system included in sale.

Its currently configured to the new 2011 Speed Ventures S2K Challenge Modified-R class, trimmed to the 2750 lb minimum weight without the use of ballast (2580 lbs no fuel/no driver). Add 50 lbs of ballast, remove a couple performance mods and add street tires and you can run Modified-S. Car is also eligible for Speed Ventures Redline Time Attack Street Class, where you can easily pull out over 100 pounds.

Vehicle has a clean title, and has been registered as non-op with the CA DMV. Put the cat, intake and stock header back on, get it smogged and you can be back on the street.

Didn't think about it like that, but yes. I bought a SCCA T1 Corvette to go W2W racing this year.

BTW, the complete package will only be available until the end of March. At that time if not sold, I'll be parting out the car.

Why did you switch out your AEM V2? I have the same intake but thinking of switching it cause of the brake ducts. Is your J's intake and Berk header pulling the same power, re tune?
