I recently bought an ap2 front bumper off an 04 s2k just to see if i'll like it on my car instead of the ap1 one, but right now i can't decide which i like better. so whoever picks up either bumper will be the deciding factor.

The ap2 bumper is in mint condition. paint is great. i am looking to get $320 for this.

The ap1 bumper is also in great condition, minus the rock chips that is normal for a car that is 5 years old. This includes the oem front lip that i put on about 8 months ago. The problem with the lip is that i scraped it against a concrete parking bump thing and put a 1 inch vertical crack down the top part of the lip and a 1 inch crack under the lip. the bottom part isn't noticable, but the top part is. Since it's black and the paint wasn't really damaged, no one ever notices it until i point it out and then they're like ooh man what happened? i got an estimate at doug's autobody in torrance and they said they can fix it for $80. i'm also looking to get $320 for both the bumper and the lip

i have pics of the ap1 bumper, so pm your email address, and i'll send you some close ups of the damage. i don't have pics of the the ap2 bumper but it's basically just a black ap2 bumper so i don't think pics will help much

also, im in the alhambra/monterey park area. pick ups are required because i don't have a way to transport the bumpers. all we have at home is an sc400, s2000 and a 350z - so i can't even drive it to a ups store to ship

 

ap2 front bump hands down ... im not being biased either.

 

damn, i went through all of sunday hearing that my old bumper looked better. and now today everyone's saying the ap2 is better. i switched out both to see which i liked but seriously i like them the same. so i just need to get rid of one so i can stop stressing about it.

though i do think the ap1 bumper with lip looks way more aggressive. the ap2 without the lip makes the car look "cute" so that's the only thing i don't like. i can't wait to get the ap2 lip (if i keep that bumper)

i'm not too crazy about the mugen lip. i like the apr one a lot but i was thinking that i'd buy the oem lip if i sold the ap1... thanks for the advice though
