For the cf intake duct, do I need to buy the Tsuchinoko intake itself?

the air duct was made for the tsuchinoko intake but i've seen someone use it without the tsuchinoko. i don't think u can order the tsuchinoko by itself.

Would this work if I just removed the stock airbox and attached it to my stock piping?

no, it is slightly farther left of stock intake tube.
