Interested but concerned with the mileage. How soon will these need a rebuild?

Mileage is actually relatively low, averaging around 11.5k miles per year. Probably won't need a rebuild for another 2 years at least .

this is a dumb noob question but what do you do when you have to rebuild it? to make it up to par again?

Usually the corrective action for a rebuild on the user-end would be simply dropping the suspension off at Tein . Luckily, Tein is local to us SoCal folks and they do their rebuilding in-house so it does not need to be shipped to Japan.

What happens at Tein during the rebuild I'm not so sure. I'm assuming they take the suspension apart and replace all worn items and then rebuild the suspension ground up using the same manufacturing procedures.

A rebuild consists of taking the shock apart and replacing the oil and o-rings.
