the company said the material can be made of duraflex. which is a impact and crack resistant form of fiberglass.

okay here is a list of the entire kit so far. they want 20 heads for each piece for it to be made. so if there are 20 people who want the ENTIRE kit then they will produce it and possibly become vendors.

also me and desmond will be heading out there possibly monday to negociate and get some more details.

ps. shipping to US will be 100-200 for the kit.

1. Entire kit (front bumper, canards, front fenders, over fenders, rear bumper, sides) around 1200
2. front bumper - 260ish
3. canards - 200ish
4. front fenders - 300ish
5. rear fenders - 180ish
6. rear bumper 260ish
7. side skirts - 220ish

these are just quotes.

**update 7/7/08**

well me and desmond went to the shop and things went well. their warehouse is very large and professional and the material is top notch. it is light, flexible and durable.
unfortunately we were not able to get the interested number dropped because we were told that with 20 kits being made they barely break even because cost of molds.

also very soon this company will make its debut on s2ki as a vendor and will be able to start taking 30% deposits. 2 weeks after the debut the kits will take 10-12 weeks until they are in the warehouse ready to ship or be picked up. desmond and myself may possibly be handling the rest of this gauging interest/group buy. however deposits will be made out to the company for peace of mind.

so in short. with enough REAL interest (ie. deposits put down once they are vendors) we can definitely expect these kits to be ready for pick up/ship in the next 2-3 months. and buying on the group buy will be discounted well.

sorry for the late update guys there were some complications getting the company to become a sponsor cause the button wasnt operating but things seem to be rolling now.

there are some unfortunate circumstances that have also arised and would like to see what people thought about it.

due to time complications we have a hard time sourcing specifically the front fenders and the version 2 diffuser purchasing them can delay the project for a couple months.

so i ask the community would you guys be perfectly fine if we:

- replaced the J's fenders w/ ASM wide fenders (almost same look when you have the fender cover on the j's

- Used version 1 front bumper as opposed to version 2

- Also if we were to source J's front fenders if you guys would mind if they didnt come with the fender cover.

please tell me what you guys think and thank you for your patience.

dude i'm so down; anything is better than 1000+ for a front bumper! and i mean it's only for looks anyways. count me in! i was saving up for a J's, but if this deal is good ill go for it!
