No! These Will Not fit in the S-Pods. No! They will not fit after modification either.

They Will make great front speakers, but please don't advertise them as fitting in S-Pods. It is very clearly stated in the FAQ's in this forum, and at www.streetsmarttechnologies.net that ONLY 5.25 inch (130 mm) components or coaxials will fit in the S-Pods.

If any of my customers are looking for front speakers; I'll direct them to your post.

Good luck with your sale.

"if its a 6.5'' spod with 1' tweeter, yes. otherwise, u can always cut to fit."

that was my quote. So the s pods cant be cut to accomdate at 6.5'' speaker? I dont know for sure, but thanks for your input.

Yeah... unfortunately cutting will only screw the S-Pods up. I designed them for 5.25in woofers, and up to a 2in tweeter. If the mounting plates were cut for 6.5's there would be nothing left to attach the speaker grilles to.

you need a dethp adapter from lucid. its 25 bucks on their site. check lucidauto.com, look under 'speaker installation kits' and check out the dethp adapters.
