I purchase a CF trunk from Mark in January 2006. I don't know his screen name because his thread was deleted probaly for the fact the fitment on the right side sucks. I know I met him in around downtown L.A. early in the morning. He didn't have pics with it on but said the fitment was good and if anything would just need alittle adjustment. Well you can't adjust these trunks especially how this one sits. He said he was selling it because he wanted to get a cf trunk with no rear light which is bull because he knew the fitment sucked. I'll get more info on him since I did paypal him. Here's a pic.

Not taking any sides, but my trunk did the same thing because I test fitted it with one trunk spring in. To put on the trunk with no gap, you need to remove both trunk springs. If you did already and then installed it then that might mean that he didn't and therefore it warped.

I had both trunk springs removed before I installed the trunk. Thanks for your help. This sucks because I paid top dollar for it too!
