Cutting of the stock hood is NOT required. This was designed for the Factory Honda hood.

I'm certain it will lower intake temperatures.... and that, theoretically increases hp.

I was told by an old tuner friend of mine that with every 1 degree in temperature drop, there is a 1% increase in HP. Anyone else hear that?

I've heard that as well.

I'm aware that it will drop intake temperature compared to stock so the throttle response will be better, but my concern is more based on the question of: will it bottle-neck when at greater speeds since there is such limited area for the air to pass through.

Is this snorkle ready to go? As in, no engine modification necessary? I heard that some intakes don't fit the 06-07 AP2s b/c of rerouted a/c lines or something like that. Oh, and is it compatible with a c/f radiator plate? That's on my shopping list, too.

Definitely interested if I don't need to reroute or cut anything.

I'm unaware of any AC line problems... however that doesn't mean that it may not exist. Please do sufficient research to be sure!!

Part is off the car and ready to go.

light modding will probably need to be done for the ap2's if this fits just like the spoon snorkle, which i'm pretty certain it does.

bump for a beautiful piece.
