they are not oem, but should have been. fyi, these things are SOOOOOOOOOO worth it. they make the car feel like a lexus/s2000 (slight exaggeration) but after having them, i wouldn't want to do without them and you can easily take them off for tracking. the also block the large amount of wind that comes through the headrest holes.

 

ya oem is open head rest...
