Default Where to get ap1 front lip?

Yea so I was wondering where can I get a front lip for my 2002 S2000. It was in an accident so I just want the body shop to attach it and paint it on so the paint matches. I've done searches so i'm assuming the OEM ones from the dealerships come pre-painted which isn't much help to me. This brings me to my other question.

Are the replica or non oem lips okay? They seem to be a better choice anyways since I want it to come unpainted. Mind you I don't baby this car to a ridiculous point (my M3 gets that treatment) so I don't mind very minor minor fitment issues. However, I don't wanna see a black hole where the lip meets the bumper either. Thanks for your help guys.

You could check the For Sale forums. There's a So Cal and a national one. You never know what you'll find. Maybe check ebay?

Replica or non oem lips are fine. It's all a personal preference. Same deal, check the FS forums.

Or you could check with the Spugen crew. www.teamspugen.com/

Good luck.

personally, the replica lips do not have the quality the OEM has. The replicas do not have the rubber seal that runs along the bumper. They fill in the gaps. Just get the OEM repainted. IMO.

I don't really wanna pay 350 for the oem lip and then pay to repaint it the same color. It just seems retarded to me. If I wasn't getting the bumper painted and just adding on the lip then yea i'd probably get the oem pre-painted.
