Get the 02-03 if you want 9K rev. I know what you are doing already. So am I.

Any other modifications needed to make an AP2 rev to 9K without causing damage to the engine?

Does this answer your question?

02/03 is mapped better.

Beef up the internals, but all of billmans clients are running ok w/ stock internals

To be able to make this happen, you'll need the VIN of the ECU. Once you tell the dealership to reprogram, your warranty is OUT the door. Just to let you know before you do this.

On the dyno,

00-01 ECU is 5HP less than 02-03 ECU. I cant explain it, but you can probably find a search or ask for help under the hood
