Just traded in my 05 for a fresh 07 and I dont want to install the CAI I have and would like to keep the airbox.
Soooooooooo, what filters are out there for sell, Spoon, J's? I dont want a K&N though.

how about the Mugen filter? Good? The Spoon filter looks good but costly, worth it?

 

i hate to type this everytime but here we go

foam filter in general do not filter nearly as good as paper or cotton media, they are not all reuseable. the only good thing about foam filter is the air flow, which comes at the expense of filteration.

Is the J's Intake paper? Soooo, foam is good but at the cost of filtration and paper a bit more restrictive? Cotton is the way to go? Other than K&N what is cotton? A foam filter might be good but not sure for a daily driven car maybe only needs to be on during events.
