Whats funny about this thread is that ONE, 3rd post down the author says he's picking up a set already for 850. SECOND, with the exception of ap2 jared and La brit, everyone else seems to put in their 2 cents when they have no idea what they are talking about. Blitz Type 01's are a rare wheel for the S. For those whom own it, can attest to how much time and effort they put into restoring them (if they opted to restore) Lock this thread.

I agree, the kid is an utter idiot, claiming that he wants to buy some 01's and then informs everyone that he has some already.

Fool.

Can you please list what offsets you are running front and rear as well as tire size?

Thanks!

uuummm ok calling me an idiot, but watever no big deal i never said that i already picked up some, i said that i'm going to pick up some for 850 and for those talking about the front won't work, i already have some aftermarketfender. Yes they are from rbmotoring, and I went yesterday to check them out, but they were too many scratches on there. No hard feeling people have their opinions and i know you guys were trying to help me out. thanks again

Now you know what you get for $850. Do the math my friend. You pay $850 for a set of Blitz. The cost to re polish the lip and re powdercoat the centers + mount balance + any possible costs to re weld areas of the lip that may be too deep for just re polish + your time + wait time, you can see why the members who are interested in selling are asking more than 2G's with tires. The process that goes into re finishing a wheel PROPERLY can and will cost you in the neighborhood of $700 to $1G. Depending on how you want the results. The reason that they come so scratched up is because they were used as race wheels in Japan. The extent of the scratches can also give you an indication if the rims may be bent. If you want a set of Blitz Type 01's, LaBrit and Boosted have them for sale. I have seen both sets in person and the quality is excellent. I personally own a set of Type 01's on my S. I paid almost a grand for the refinish job. The shop did an absolute immaculate job. I made visits to the powdercoating shop where I was informed the process, etc. I also waited over 3 months. I have attatched a couple of pics. Good luck with your search.

FYI: If I was to ever sell my Blitz, I'd ask for over 2G too. I love my wheels too much to change for anything else. For those who view this, they are not for sale.
