Hey guys, my friends and i started to road bike, but ive been borrowing a friends bike and its about that time to buy my own. I'm about 6 foot, and 185 lbs. Lets see what ya got...

 

how much you want to spend? I've got an older Trek. It has the Shimano gruppo right below 105, Look pedals, and is a 56 I think (so it might be a little small for ya), but is a decent starter bike.

To be honest, I'd start with a cheaper bike, see how much you're riding, and then invest in a good $1k bike that fits you well....
