Honestly PM him, offer something close to what he's asking and don't look back. he's willing to ship it and not douche enough to charge paypal, seems like a nice guy.

Ask for more pics and do it. Unless you are in street class (and even then its doubtful to run anything else) I would NOT buy a gtc 200 or anything less. It'll just be money you wish you had spent on this wing.

(speaking from a person with people who've been in this situation before)

GL!
thanks!

what's wrong with a gtc-200? half the price and seems to work well. i never plan to run higher than street class.

Well I can PM you how the wings are made but for the most part lets just say the guy who designed it wouldn't even recommend it. I'm not saying the Voltex is God's gift to aero but its the best option you have for what you want. If anything - for a street setup I'd run the CR wing. Cheap, low points, and will let you be a lot more flexible with the rest of your setup. Sounds like you're not too sure on your final setup for street class.

I'm in the same predicament =/

yeah, please PM me about the gtc.

i'm also considering the gt motoring wing that's supposed to come out this spring. construction is vacuum versus wet layup. looks good so far and will run about $1200

i was going to get a CR wing, but I want more wing. I run 255 all around with a CR lip.

Sounds like you'd rather have a bigger front swaybar.

The factory CR has plenty of understeer, if that's what you are concerned about as far as having a more neutral car.

Saner or Gendron bar, if you need it MY06 rear OEM sway bar, and the rest of the CR package with 255 should be almost neutral with a slight tendency to oversteer on low speed corners.

You're definetely still on stock suspension as well since the points in street class won't allow for coilovers, so this is the route I would go. Probably a lot cheaper and easier to daily drive if you haven't considered. Hopefully Nam can shed some light here as he is the street class champion but this is probably the best advice I can give you.

how many points are you currently using for the street class? 255 tires and wheels is already...1.25 points right? (at least)

i mis-typed. i'm in the modified class with coilovers and everything else...but honestly don't care about points or how well i do in the series. i just do it for fun.

if i wanted to seriously complete, i'd run stock class.

yes, i do need a larger front sway. might get an early ap1 bar one of these days.

do what Squirtle told u man.

that link i gave u is the deal u shouldn't miss.
i don't even know the seller but that exact setup i paid 1500~1600 brand new.

it works well at the track and since you're in the mod class just buy voltex instead of gtc200.

just my 0.02
