yellow box, diff
SOLD, THANKS FOR EVERYONES INTEREST
back to stock gears so i'm selling these
yellow box, to adjust the speedometer. Paid $100 shipped, installed for one week. I still have the instructions too. - $75
ap1 differential... I have been told from ramjet, and hondaworld that it should only be the ring and pinion that are bad. If you are buying aftermarket gears, and get the install kit this will work for you. -$200
* it has 4.77 gears in it now, when pulled it still works but has a very loud whine. I would not recomend the buyer to run it with the current ring and pinion. you have been warned, this is why i'm selling so cheap.
If you want both, $250

Not yet, its actually at honda world right now.. they are putting my stock one back in. I will have it back tomorrow
who ever wants to buy it, can come over and open it up before they decide to buy. If i have time i may even doit myself, just out of curiosity.
After doing a lot of research on this problem i was faced with, i came to the conclusion it was a bad install, or the ring and pinion were bad to begin with (not likely). I don't think it damaged anything else, but i am not a mechanic and can't tell you for sure.
All i know is this set up has cost me:
$500 for diff
$400 gears
$100 yellow box
$270 gear install
$310 to have my stock diff put back in.
= $1580 and i'm back to stock, i'm just hoping to get something back out of it
