Any Recommendations
Heyhey Miami group
I have a quick question for you. I'll be in the area in a week or so (tagging along on the wife's business convention)
Anyway.....I was curious if you had a recommendations for places to visit? I haven't had the pleasure of visiting Miami and although the travel guides are good, nothing beats a locals recommendation.....especially for restaurants
Oh....one more, any auto-related must-see places (Ferrari dealership, etc)? I have a feeling that there are probably a just a few more exotics in s.Florida that there are here in ye ole N.Carolina.
Anyway....thanks for any tips and if you see a sad guy longing for his S2k while driving his Hertz rental wagon. Honk, it's me

There's The Collection in Coral Gables on Ponce de Leon and Bird Rd. www.thecollection.com Porsches, Ferraris, etc.
Where to eat depends on your personal tastes... Take your wife to The Bed in South Beach, romantic and fun. Mezza Luna on Ocean Drive, China Grill on the corner of 5th and Collins and Cheesecake Factory in Cocowalk are my personal favorites.
Enjoy your time in Miami!

The Collection is the spot to go. You can drool from the outside too. There's a new mall there too just up the street on Bird Road. It's called The Village At Merrick park.
China Grill, PF Changs, Bed all again depending on what you guys like to eat. You can have the local favorite Cuban food and go to the famous Versalles.... or Latin America.
Don't forget to hit Fat Tuesdays, or Wet Willies on the beach.
Clubs look out for Level, Space, Deep, Oxygen... there are a lot of others.
I'm sure more people will be giving ya better ideas
Have fun while you are down here and if ya need anything else let us know we'll be glad to help ya!

Thanks for the tips. It looks like a trip to the Collection is definitely in order. Restaurants will probably be decided when we arrive, but at least I've got a starting point now. My wife is Peruvian so we will probably concentrate on the Cuban & Latin cuisine while we're in the area.
Thanks again
Thanks again
Adjacent to the Collection is Merrick Place , a great high end mall, since you mentioned your wife is Peruvian, try Pescados in Merrick Place and have the ceviche, the chef is Peruvian and I am sure you will enjoy it. The make excellent apple martinis also by the way..........
