April Wake the Dragon Run

Hi guys. Kim posted on the Florida forum that some of you may want to go to the Wake the Dragon in April. I'm trying to get a group of us Florida people to do the drive. We can meet up in Ocala on that Friday at 7 am for the drive to Knoxville. Do any of you guys want to do it this time? We had 5 of us from Florida in the fall do the run and it was a blast.
I've meet no body from Miami after trying with the Florida Super Meet and pool parties, Key West trip, etc. . If you guys can join up that would be great!

For the record, "Florida" never had an issue with the South Florida group. I do think that our state is too long (like CA), that we do need two forums though. I like to visit this forum to see what you guys got going on. I can speak for the majority of Florida (I hope) when I say I want to meet some of you guys.

Yea the last time we tried to get together, interest from the group was sorely lacking.
I am interested in doing this myself next year, so lets see if we can get something going.

Thanks for posting here. I'd love to get a SoFla group to meet up w/ the FL group to head on up to the Dragon. I definitely think it would be a great time. Macguyver & I have been discussing Fall Colors, but with it being held near Pittsburgh, that's too far. I used to drive regularly 8-10 hours from central NJ to northern VT a few years back.
(**edit: I know it's more than 8-10 hours to TN....more like 14-15 for us down here. Blonde moment!)
Come on SoFla members! Let's have a strong showing at Wake the Dragon '04!!!

FYI for all you South Floridians...
It should be about 9-9.5 hours from Naples Fl to Knoxville.
At 80mph from Naples to 30mi South of Nashville about 11 hours including stops for gas every 250 miles. I am about 2.5 hours from Knoxville. Hope to see you all at the Dragon!

Puhlease. When a bunch of S2000's get together, it's like trying to decide who has the biggest.................................... engine 
I'm sure it would cosist of lots on zooming in and around, past cars. Not only that but seeing 10 or more S2000's driving past you, you'd take a crap driving or you'd be like some other idiots trying to prove your P.O.S. is faster. It would be interesting to hear the stories.
Oh and if you have and major doubts of what could happen on a drive. Ask Tommy, I beleive Jonathon forgot who else on their way up to Pompano for a NSX/S2000 Meet.

Glad to see interest in this. Thought I might be driving up alone. I am definitely in.
Question: Does the hotel on the original post fill up quick, if so we need to book rooms now.
It would be great if the entire Florida group can stay at the same hotel and all park together. Perhaps put banners on our windshields to identify us while up there.
One concern the 7am meet time in Ocala is rough. That would me most of us would have to leave down here by 3am or else try and stay somewhere up there. Anybody have room for 15 people and room to park at least 10 S2000s?
Finally, let's get firm commitments here so that those of us booking rooms, saving money, and taking time off.
