Thinking about when I want to go...
Anyone interested in driving to Orlando for Revitup? I'm thinking about going Friday or Saturday, and staying to watch Orlando speedword roundyround racing at night.

Had a GREAT time at the event Sat. morning! I went to the first session of the morning to beat the heat. I was lucky, and there were 3 people in my group with our own instructor - seat time was 95%, we each had our own cars. Ended up getting selected as "most improved" in my session and got to ride along in the R8 with an Audi test driver - awesome! They're coming again in September and October - here's what to expect:
Free 2 Hour Session
Nice air conditioned hospitality tent with free food/drinks
Brief introduction in a classroom
Rotating around 3 sessions
- short autocross/slalom in a 4.2L Q7, 4.2L A8, and 3.2L A3
- emergency lane change in 3.2L A6
- emergency ABS braking and lane change in an A4 (forgot if it was 2.0T or 3.2)
Then, at the end, you get to drive the new TT (3.2L) around Homestead for 2 laps (4 if you get a vehicle by yourself). Groups of around 6 TTs behind an instructor in a RS4. We actually got to go around the banking of turns 3 and 4 - I hit 110 on the straight, but other cars were past 120 - the TT in front of me was going a little slow. I was surprised they let us go around so quick - a couple cars in front of me actually spun off the track in the infield and into the gravel.
Overall, a great (and free!) time
