Default Auto Show In Motion

Yup It's back again! As some of you can remember, last year GM held this "Auto Show in Motion" at GulfStream Race track in Hallandale Beach. Basically GM puts this thing together where you can go and test drive a bunch of GM Vehicles, as well as compare them against other car makers. I can't speak for everyone but it was a really good time! So if you are interested it'll be here from November 13th - November 16th, again at Gulf Stream. If you need more info or wanna sign up, head over to
Auto Show in Motion
So far i've signed up for Sat Nov 15th @ 11:00 AM

Thanks for the info Cindy. I'll be there on Friday at 09:30 - the Corvettes were a lot of fun last year . If you want to do this event, sign up soon, the Saturday spots are nearly gone.

AND, I'll see many of you at the autocross on Saturday .

Bullet... it's cool if you want to do the autox but i know there are others who went last year and had a good time, and would like to go again this year.

CoralDoc... yes the Vette's were extremely fun. I know it was fun driving the Z06. This year i'm not holding back.. i'm driving it HARD!! Remember to post your times so we can see who gets the fastest Vette times this year. I know it wont be me!

I just registered for 8:30am. The only time left available on Saturday. Afterwards, I'm going to the Autox (as a spectator), and then to the Miami Beach Auto Show.

Anyone else going at that time?

Default z06 test drive

The corvette has always been my dream car. Especially after the Z06 came out. I love the car strictly for the looks and performance, although I've never diven one. I tried once or twice but I'm 19, and look even younger, so I don't blame them for not letting me test drive a Z06. The C6 Z06 will most likely be my next car. Any of you that have driven a Z06 Please post the pro's and con's.

Pros - Excellent performance value, massive torque and ample power, superb handling, wonderful exhaust note

Cons - Long-term reliability concerns, low residual value, expensive parts (tires especially so)

The car is a blast to drive! Gear selection doesn't matter very much, just squeeze the throttle and the car scoots. The limits of adhesion in turns is very high, but the steering is a little numb. The car is pretty big on the outside and small in the cockpit. If you can afford the price, it's the best performance value out there.

All in all, I still prefer the S2000 for its nimble handling, good power and nice looks.
