Auto Show This Sat
It kinda suck, or one of the not so good years. Unless you have certain cars you want to see, there are really nothing exciting happening. Now, I'm not asking them to "unveil" an upcoming car in SF Auto Show, but for being as big as it claimed, we should at least see some cars that were recently unveiled. How about the CR-Z or a concept model of the Lexus LF-A? Instead, we get the leftovers.
The only things that were close to interesting if you can even call it that were....
- They had a body modded Hyundai Genesis coupe
- Free test drive of this tiny Ford Fiesta (woohoo), which I didn't care to do
- a neat/different Nissan booth which you can see the GT-R up close (still locked) and the new 370z
- Free $50 gift card from Ford if the Ford people see you wearing the t-shirt that you had to fight for when they toss it to the crowd(retarded IMO).
- Free 3D paper glasses and free key chain from Scion(man, I was all over the free key chains).
Other than that, it was pretty lame. They didn't even have a special section for the "million dollar" cars. It was all crunched together with the other brands.....and the S2000 wasn't even on the floor since they are stopping production. I remember one year, they at least had the man-made rough terrain to show off the Jeeps. Nope, we get to test drive a Ford Fiesta. All in all, it kind of suck. But I went the first Saturday, so I don't know.
