Okay I've always been a drag racing person , now with the s2k everyone is into autocross . What do I need ?( and dont say a car wise ass) When is it? and where do I go?

 

Helmet and $35. There's an event this Sunday at Hialeah.

 

Wise A**, I resemble that comment. Anyway, all you need is a fast car and Keith, Richie or Alex to drive it. OH, and a really cool helmet! (Check out Keith's!)

Seriously, though Mav hit the nail on the head. Money and helmet! Plus some painters tape or magnetic numbers for the side of your car. Make sure you change that right front tire( per our conversation at Tower Shops).

I plan on blowing those up at the autocross, new tires are on there way.

 

I doubt that they will permit those tires... most likely considered a hazard

 

There is one more thing you'll need when you go there. A good damn excuse for getting your ass spanked on the track by few girls from this board.

Like everyone said, bring money, a helmet and your car. There are plenty of us that can help with your car setup. And, if the tires are really a problem, I'll probably have an extra set of old practice wheels that you can use for the day for the low fee of ... a beer . You'll just need to figure out a way to get them down to the event.

 

 

Maybe this was already mentioned at a meeting or not.....but.....are we all meeting anywhere for the autocross? And by that I mean drive to Hialeah.....let me know.

 

Depends on where you live. The northern group normally meets on 441 near the Sawgrass and heads down together. The southern group???????? We eventually all meet up at the AutoX location.
