Barack Obama's campaign has shelled out an estimated $3 million to $5 million for a 30-minute ad that is to air tonight on broadcast and cable networks during prime-time. The Democratic presidential nominee's camp says the ad is necessary to counter "desperate attacks" by Republican rival John McCain.
