White only looks good when you have showroom lights and black marble floor. Color contrast effect Without those 2 elements, you got nothing....

R/T can't fxcking drive. Line up a manual E92 vs a Z51 C6 6.2 and have them run out of the hole up to 150 and see who wins. Wont be the M3... pff

-Technology Package- EDC, M Drive, Comfort Access, and navigation system - $3250
Nice... an extra 3250 for the M Drive.

For those who don't know.

M-Drive is a catch-all mode representing the custom settings of six other systems: the SMG, electronic damping control, dynamic stability control, engine power mode, active bolstering, and the heads-up display (the last two if applicable).

In practice, all this translates to a means of instantly switching into hooligan mode and back to normal at the press of a button, and we loved it. iDrive itself might benefit from more control logic of this type. We know the point is to make everything controllable through one knob, but the star-symbol button on the steering wheel below the M-Drive button can be customized to perform one iDrive task, and a couple other buttons like this would be nice.

True. A lady friend of mine has a M5 and when she has it all cleaned up that car is gorgeous.

Wow, keep your shirt on. Its not just R/T that got times that high...do some research. I find it ironic that the //M can keep up with less hp and more weight than the C6.

Well the does the M3 have launch control? (Dunno I havent read) Was it automatic/manual? Was it run on the same day?

Those numbers are more like what the LS2 did not what the LS3 can do.

I'm not debating the potential of the car.

Car and Driver clocked it at:

2008 M3 coupe
0-60 4.3 sec
0-100 9.8 sec
1/4 mile 12.8 sec@113 mph
Slalom 65.9 mph

So I can see the close numbers.

2008 Corvette Z51 coupe
0-60 4.0 sec
0-100 9.4 sec
1/4 mile 12.4 sec@116 mph
Slalom 69.8 mph

But we can make up our minds when they do the Lightning Lap with the Coupe and Z06 vs the new M3 Coupe.

The M3 was a manual. The DCT tranny will shave a few ticks off the acceleration. I would hope the Vette would beat the M given the weight and power advantages. One rag got 4.4 out of the new 436hp LS3.
