Default best alarm, where to install

I just installed the seat locks a few weeks ago, but I don't have an alarm. The honda dealer offered 460.00 and I think it was 100.00 to install. I bought the car used no alarm and I have no garage. I want to get an alarm soon, which do you recommend and where should I get it installed

Check in the electronics forum or talk to a local dealer on the alarm.

I'm on the fence between either the compustar or one of the dei models. my issue is with the remote start...i really don't need it, but if it's there, i'll take it..

with the Compustar, it disables the remote start if you don't follow a certain sequence when parking your car (and has to be in neutral). not sure about the DEI models.. and one of the reasons why I'm leaning towards the Compustar.

I have the Clifford Matrix 12.5 with the interfaced tracking system. It's gonna set you back about $1,000, but is the best on the market with every possible option including some I dont use like remote start. If you dont want to spend that kinda money I would still stick with a Clifford and make sure they hook up proximity, shock and tilt sensor. Adjust it to your sensitivity preference and you're set. That set up should'nt cost you more than $500 installed. Just make sure you get a reputable installer...Goodluck..

I would advise not adding remote start to this car. if it malfunctions, the car could start and move even with the ebrake on

Yea, if you live in Broward you better get an alarm ASAP. Broward is NOTORIOUS for the seat thefts.
