I am not a newbie and Im not considered a Hardcore member
(as one beautiful woman put it) but Im noticing that everyone is like losing interest in the meets ?


Is it because of the WRX crew thats there >
We dont drink enough ?

Does everyone want cookies and cupcakes ?

When i first joined we had a mad crew with a bunch of diff variety and a hot chick..now its soooo boring and the new people who come only want to see that there s2k is faster then yours...WTF


I dunno just wanted to get some input on what day is it that most of us can meet up and stuff because damn WED and THUR meets at Diff Locations Sucks...If I knew which one is the perm on i would make it there no matter how far..

I've been around a while...
The meetings are cyclical..

sometimes there are large meets..
sometimes there are small meets..
sometimes there are no meets...

Come down to the thursday meet... there was a pretty good showing last week and the week before.

( wednesday is also rescue me.. pffft )

This happens every now and then. We had a long run with the Fuddruckers locations but unfortunately they are starting to die out.

I had no intention of doing permanent Thursday night meets. A couple of Kendall guys requested if we could do one Thursday night meet since they don't get to make it out on Wednesdays and I took it upon myself to start one up. The turnout was good and so many have continued to request them and are showing up that we've just kept meeting on Thursdays. I have no idea what tonight's meet will be like, but so far so good.

I haven't come on Wednesdays lately simply because I've had other things to do but it does not mean I gave up Wednesday for Thursday. I'll go to both (so please stop saying that). This is precisely why I didn't want to be CO and turned down the request....but I seem to get crap anyway!!!! Everyone needs a break sometimes and I've been trying to take one myself but I get caught up on something new and end up sticking around.

However, I do think we need a new location for the Wednesday night meets....it's just difficult to find one and then even more difficult not to get complaints, as everyone here loves to do.

I will make sure to post up next Wednesday's meet. I apologize I've been slacking a little lately but aside from being busy with work, I've had some personal stuff going on as well.....a girl is entitled. I don't see the CO's doing their jobs either, though. ::cough cough:: granprix ::cough cough::

 

Oh, and by the way, I'm giving up my favorite show on Thursday nights just to be at the new meet........pfft!!!

It's not only a parking lot but also a central location, a place to eat (if anyone wants to) and a nearby place to drink (for the lushes).

Can you build us a parking lot..equidistant to all members?

everyone should send me their address.. and i will use google to find a place exactly equal distance from everyone.

WE may have to get creative and tell people they must use a certain route to get to the meet.

For instance, it may require me to drive up us1 on i95.. then across to the turnpike and back south to rest area at 122. in the spirit of fairness. wouldn't want some to drive further than others.

I think Di.. will have to drive south on krome to florida city.. then she can come back up north to the rest area...

Now all we need is a good place to build a parking lot...
